Here is an update on the progress of the printing, We thought we had the OMO tram printing good but we soon realised that was not the case but after 30 plus failures and us trying different settings we finally got there fingers crossed lol, i have included a picture at the bottom of this post with the failed prints, so this and me having some hospital appointments has set us back a day or two but we are on it and hopefully in next few days we should have stock of the OMO tram.

So anybody who thinks we just develop then prints come out of the printer think again, development is one thing but then printing is another learning curve with every model sometimes you hit on it right away other times it can take days or weeks to tweak the settings has is evident from the above picture.

Thank You

Absolutely right kiddo, every new project inevitably has pitfalls. Recently had the same problem with another supplier (don't fret, different subject matter) for a pair of Ford model T's; Almost were abandoned because of print issues but finally arrived- incredible detail and so thin they were slightly translucent. Frustrating wait but like you Martin... who else supplies them? Rest easy, you can now fill out any back orders comfortably and have all that extra experience to flesh out the next idea(s).

@ianwest195 thank you for your kind words Ian and you and @Chris are right no one else is doing much of Blackpool stuff and yes all this is good experience and at times can be challenging but i do not mind that makes the end product more satisfying knowing that we tried our best and overcome the challenges within that project.

Thank You

Well said Wessy57, and Martin if anyone is complaining about how long this is talking tell them to go buy elsewhere ( very few places and in most cases no where is actively developing Blackpool models and those that are ask a lot more money than you are), Some people just love to complain.... Personally I know how many hours you put into the development and you never give up your like a pit-bull once you start something it may take days, weeks, months or years but you wont stop until you reach the end product.

You do a lot better than I ever would the computer and 3D printer would have been out of the window LOL.

Keep going our kid there is no rush it will all come right in the end.

@chris Thank you Chris for your input and your comments, sometimes these things just take a little more time than expected even big production lines have their issues and challenges and what we do is on a much smaller scale but that does not mean we get smaller issues, I always like to finish a project and yes your right the time span can be from days to weeks to months etc and sometimes you just have to take a step back for a couple of days and start again but eventually i get there.

Thank You
