Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce that with the completion of the OMO tram, I can now shift my focus back to the development of the Blackpool Shunter Tram, a project that was requested by @Blackpool Tram many months ago.
#### History of the Blackpool Shunter Tram
The Blackpool Shunter Tram is an essential piece of the Blackpool tramway history. Designed primarily for non-passenger duties, the shunter tram was used for moving other trams around the depot, track maintenance, and general shunting tasks. Its robust design and utility made it an invaluable part of the Blackpool tram fleet, especially during the mid-20th century.
#### Current Development Progress
I'm pleased to share that the body of the Blackpool Shunter Tram is just about complete. Here are the key developments:
- **Body Construction:** The main body structure is finished, capturing the authentic design of the original shunter tram.
- **Bottom Part Completion:** The bottom part of the tram has been crafted, which includes the axle boxes and lifeguards. These components are crucial for ensuring the model's accuracy and functionality.
The detailed work on the axle boxes and lifeguards ensures that the model not only looks true to life but also functions properly as part of any OO gauge layout.
I want to thank @Blackpool Tram for the idea and for their patience during the OMO tram project. Now that the OMO tram is finished, I can dedicate my efforts to bringing the Blackpool Shunter Tram to life.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you all for your continued support and feedback.
Best regards,
Martin

Hello everyone,
I wanted to share some exciting progress on our OO3DModels Shunter Tram project. Here are the latest updates:
- Lowered Overall Height: We've slightly lowered the overall height of the tram for a more accurate scale representation.
- Thinned Out Lifeguards: The lifeguards were way too thick, so we’ve thinned them out for a more realistic look.
- Red Lantern: We’ve added a red lantern, enhancing the tram’s historical accuracy and detail.
- Headlights: Headlights have now been added at each end of the tram, providing more authenticity to the model.
What's Left to Do:
- Power Pole: We still need to add the power pole.
- Roof Adjustment: A hole needs to be made in the roof for the power pole to attach to.
Here's a sneak peek at the updated version with the new features

I appreciate everyone's patience and support as we make these improvements. We're getting closer to completing this project and can't wait to share the final version with you all.
Thank you!
