Hey everyone,
I'm excited to share a sneak preview of our latest project under development at oo3dmodels: the Little Bispham Tram Stop/Shelter! While there's still quite a bit of work to be done, I couldn't wait to give you all a glimpse of what's to come.
Â
As you can see, we've been hard at work capturing the intricate details of the Little Bispham tram shelter, aiming to recreate it in stunning accuracy and realism. From the distinct architectural features to the charming character of the shelter, we're committed to bringing this iconic landmark to life in the world of model railways and dioramas.
While the project is still in its early stages, your feedback and comments are invaluable to us. We'd love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and any input you may have as we continue to refine and perfect the design.
So, what do you think of our progress so far? Are there any specific details or features you'd like to see included in the final model? Feel free to share your comments below – we can't wait to hear from you!
Stay tuned for more updates on the Little Bispham Tram Stop/Shelter project, and thank you for being a part of our journey at oo3dmodels.
Warm regards,
Martin
Looking very promising, already captures that art deco influence so hopefully enough of that finer period detailing will show through too. Martin, you asked for suggestions: is it possible to represent bench seats on the back wall of the alcove, a couple of seated figures added would then finish the job? Likewise the two wings along with detailed doors/frames- picture that with added glazing and warm lighting... prime building choice possibly!
Now the cheekier bit... is the back of your mind itching to do likewise with 'large' Bispham one day??Â
Hi Ian thanks for the reply and comments, The Windows I am sorting hopefully, the bench I could do a shelf bench to go on the back wall so figures can sit there, the fine art detail I will have to try sea what I can do, The inner walls have been removed at the sides because the real shelter does not have them I might be able to do a curve bench around the 2 inner curves so figures can also be sat there make it look more realistic and close to the shelter windows, lighting could be done the wiring would have to run down some tiny channelling something like was done on the Grinder tram maybe.
The Main Bispham station shelter is a much bigger challenge I would like to try doing one but lets see how this one turns out before I commit fully.Â

Thank You

Hey everyone,
I wanted to give you all a quick update on the progress of our Little Bispham Tram Shelter project here at oo3dmodels. We've been hard at work making some alterations to the design based on your feedback and our ongoing efforts to ensure the highest level of accuracy and detail.
Here's what's changed:
-
Removed Walls by the Oval Ends: We decided to take out the walls by the oval ends to better capture the authentic look and feel of the tram shelter.
-
Added Window and Door Recesses for the Rear Building: In an effort to enhance realism, we've added window and door recesses to the rear building of the tram shelter.
-
Enlarged Oval Windows: The oval windows have been made bigger to better match the proportions of the original structure.
-
Added Circle Window at the Top Front Centre: To add a unique touch, we've incorporated a circle window at the top front center of the tram shelter.
-
Cleaned up Printing Edges: We've also taken the time to clean up some of the printing edges to ensure a smoother finish overall.
We're really excited about these changes and believe they bring us one step closer to creating a truly authentic and impressive model of the Little Bispham Tram Shelter. As always, your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Thanks for your continued support and stay tuned for more updates!
Best regards,
Martin

-
Decorative Circle Addition: We've added a decorative circle around the top center round circle of the tram shelter, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and adding an extra layer of detail to the design.

-
Outside Window Frames: Our dedication to authenticity extends to the exterior of the tram shelter, where we've meticulously designed and added outside window frames to enhance realism and visual appeal.
